So our neighborhood bunny just had babies! He/She was just so darn cute we had to pick her up. After a quick chase in the yard we caught up with her....

So if you're wondering what I've been up the last few weeks....the joy of boxing the house up! We have one more full week to get everything out and it's been a little stressful around here. How can three people collect so much STUFF in a few years? It's crazy!

I am so looking forward to next weekend, we'll be heading to the beach for a week and it couldn't happen at a better time. It's going to be great getting away from the grind of packing. We're still up in the air about where we are moving, we never thought our house would sell in 6 days! We've got house plans to build and a house that is almost finished to choose from. We're meeting with the bank to see what kind of loans we can get. Wish us luck!

What a beautiful day it was today. It was a little hot but with the wind blowing, oh how nice it was! I know Colton is going to sleep well tonight (hopefully anyway), he played all day long without a nap. If you are ever in the Durham area I would highly recommend checking out the Life and Science museum.

I love watching Colton play, it's amazing how much he has changed in the last few months. How he is starting to "pretend" play. He likes to copy things that you do and I couldn't pass the chance up to get a few pics of him grilling with Daddy.

TICKS!

My vent for the day: ticks!
What is going on with all the ticks this year? This past weekend we went around looking at some land to purchase. (Our house is under contract in only 6 days, amazing huh?) Between Rob, his dad and Mr. Smith there was 15 ticks on them...ridiculous! So I'm freaking out that Colton has some, luckily he didn't but needless to say, he had a long bath that night. The next day, yet again, we found another tick on Rob. ICK! So here we go again, I'm not afraid of many things but I HATE ticks, they are small, fast, mean little creatures. What is their purpose? According to the news, Mr. Smith said this is the worst they have ever seen them. I must say if we purchase this land it will be mostly cleared and sprayed and sprayed and sprayed.....did I mention sprayed for ticks! I guess I have been in the city for too long?

Zoo trip #1

I was looking forward so much to taking Colton to the zoo this year. He LOVES any type of animal, he points laughs and wants to love on them. So the Crims and Mangums headed off for our first trip to the zoo of the year and are planning on going back later in the summer when the lemurs are in.

Our home is officially for sale. What a lot of work, but it looks great! We couldn't be more happy with the results.
